image This commission was to perform a full exterior detail and scratch removal where required. The car was rinsed down and degreaser was applied to the wheel arches, tyres, sills, and under the front and rear PU’s.Once this was washed down we turned our attention to the road wheels, cleaning them faces and rears until to our standard, using our own non acidic wheel cleaner and soft wheel cleaning brush. All badges, panel joins , handles etc were cleaned with our soft wash detail brush and degreaser.Another rinse before a 5 stage hand wash using our high foam shampoo, and pure wool mitts. After the final rinse the car was dried down using a Venti Bi motor hot air blow dryer. We then proceeded to perform a 2 stage clay bar process using 2 separate grades of clay bar to remove surface contamination. The paintwork was then wiped down with IPA.The next stage was to locate and mark out the scratches .We then carried out a wet sanding process and rectified the paint surface using Scholl compounds of 2 varying grades and Scholl pads of 2 varying grades to gain the finish required.Again the areas were wiped down using IPA and inspected for any additional work required. The paintwork was then treated to 2 coats of our Speed wax for paint protection. We carried out the exterior detail using a fine detail brush and detail spray. The tyres and arches were dressed along with the cleaning of the tailpipes. Finally we cleaned the windows inside and out , and gave the car a final coat of our finishing spray before handing the car back to the client.
