image This recent commission was for full paint correction on a Land Rover Defender Autobiography .The spare wheel was removed prior to the washing process beginning . The car was washed down to remove all loose dust / dirt etc.We then degreased all arches, tyres, chassis rails, suspension etc, once this product had been agitated it was rinsed down .The wheels were cleaned down using Parc Ferme non acidic wheel cleaner with our own soft wheel cleaning brush.Once completed we began a 5 stage hand wash using Parc Ferme shampoo, and pure wool wash mitts. After the final rinse the car wash dried down using powerful hot air from a Venti machine. The next stage was to perform a 2 stage clay bar process to remove all surface contamination. The paintwork was then wiped down with IPA prior to a masking up process using 3M 3434 tape and professional masking paper. We then began the paint correction process using Scholl compounds in various grades along with Scholl pads in varying grades to achieve the finish required. After masking the car was again wiped down with IPA prior to a full wax coating of our Parc Ferme Speed wax. All of the glass surfaces were cleaned down, tyres dressed, and tailpipe cleaned and polished. After refitting the spare wheel and cover, the exterior was given a final detail using detail spray and our own fine detailing brush, and was treated to a final coat of our own finishing spray prior too handover.
